Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

We offer a comprehensive range of HVAC services including installation, repair, and maintenance for heating, cooling, and ventilation systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

How often should I schedule maintenance for my HVAC system?

We recommend scheduling maintenance for your HVAC system at least once a year, ideally before the start of the heating or cooling season, to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

How often should I replace my furnace filters?

We recommend at the very least 1x per year – some families may require more filter changes depending on personal health needs such as allergies or other repertory health concerns, depending on pets/dander and general environmental conditions with tree pollens or outdoor dust near your home.  Have us send out a member of our professional team to come help evaluate your needs with a personal consultation!

What are the signs that my HVAC system needs repairs?

Common signs that your HVAC system may be in need of repair include general unit age, strange noises, uneven heating or cooling, unusually high energy bills, and frequent cycling on and off creating a system you can no longer count on.  Schedule a personal consultation right away for us to fully assess and suggest taking the measures to ensure you can rely on your home heating and cooling every day!

How can I improve the energy efficiency of my HVAC system?

There are several ways to improve the energy efficiency of your HVAC system, including regular maintenance, finding and sealing any leaks in your air duct system, upgrading to a programmable thermostat, and investing in high-efficiency equipment.  Some clients find that adding an affordable ductless system to certain areas of their home helps to increase day to day comfort and equalized reliable temperatures to the extended area of their home.

What type of HVAC system is best for my home or business?

The best HVAC system for your home or business depends on various factors including the size of the space, your budget, energy efficiency goals, and local climate conditions. Call us to schedule a personalized consultation with our experts so we may help you determine the most suitable system replacement or additional measures to take to achieve your home comfort needs.

What brand(s) of HVAC equipment do you install?

For residential Furnaces, Air conditioners and Heat Pumps we mostly sell and install RUUD by Rheem.  We choose to work with them the most as the equipment is very affordable and available quickly.. RUUD repair components are also frequently available with the least hold time when needed for future repairs. We also sell and install TRANE, CARRIER, LENNOX, and can diversify further out if you have a particular preference that does not fit into this extensive list of brands.
For Ductless Mini Split systems we most frequently install DAIKIN, FUJITSU, or MITSUBISHI.  For commercial projects we can order any brand that is needed to make a direct replacement of current equipment or go through the measures to ensure proper fitment of any corresponding brand to circumvent production delays of other brands.

How long does a typical HVAC installation take?

The duration of an HVAC installation can vary depending on the complexity of the project and the type of system being installed. Our team will provide you with a timeline estimate based on your specific requirements.

What maintenance tasks can I do myself to keep my HVAC system running smoothly?

While some maintenance tasks should be left to professionals, there are some simple tasks you can do yourself such as regularly changing air filters, keeping outdoor units clear of landscape plants and general debris, and keeping an eye out to notice any visible signs of damage or extensive wear.

Are your technicians licensed and insured?

Valley View HVAC is licensed, bonded and insured through our parent company.  Belvista Enterprises, LLC.  Belvista Ent is the General Contracting license holder CCB# 243211 set to encompass management and oversight of both residential and commercial projects.
